With the warm weather comes warm water. This is one of my favorite times of the year to fish Biscayne Bay. This day Bonefish was the primary target, with a well timed trip that corresponds with tides you can be very successful. As we came off plane on the first flat we were greeted with good moving water and groups of tailing fish. We had a good day of fishing using both shrimp and fly! Staying ahead of the tide throughout the day seemed to be the ticket and most of the flats we fished were holding fish that were willing to cooperate and come aboard for a photo op. If you are looking for Bonefish there is no better time than the present!
